You scramble from your seat before the bus even comes to a complete stop and are waiting at the doors before they open.
"Come on, come on!" flows through your mind in your newfound rush to fulfill your end of the bargain.
The moment the doors open you rush outside, pushing past the other people who are waiting at the platform for one of the other buses. Thanfully no other bus is around right now or else you may feel compelled to ride that one too.
You look around the strip mall: a wide variety of stores line the length of the plaza, several dozen cars fill the parking lot, and you do not see a single person who appears to be in need of help. Well, aside from the people you knocked over getting out of the bus but those don't count.
