You don't think shouting would work and are fairly certain you'd never get to her before the criminal does so you simply watch. The man catches up to her just as she is lifting her head out of the back of the car and harshly strikes her from behind. She drops to the ground out of view behind some cars and the man aims his gun down and fires off a few rounds.
He proceeds to get into the vehicle, start the engine, and speed out of the parking space. He drives down the length of cars, then turns toward the plaza's exit and into the path of a bus that is pulling into the plaza. You aren't sure why he didn't see the large vehicle pulling in but expect a crash when he doesn't immediately turn.
However, at the very last second, he swerves to the side and out of the bus' path. He promptly skids, and loses control of the vehicle. It ends up barreling down on you and the other passengers on the bus platform.
Several people scream and move out of the way, but one man in particular doesn't budge and you quickly notice why. An iPod is clipped to his belt and a pair of ear buds are in his ears. He doesn't see, nor hear, the approaching danger. You have precious few seconds left in which to act.
