Just then, Rhea's gaze fell upon you, peeping around the corner of the shelf. Her eyes widened in shock, and she took an involuntary step back.

"Who's that?" she stammered, pointing in your direction.

Tyler followed her gaze, her cheeks flushing pink as she realized she'd forgotten to introduce you. She giggled, covering her mouth with one hand.

"Oops, how rude of me. Guys, this is my... um, friend," she said. "Friend! These are Gideon and Rhea, two of our regulars."

"Come on, join us," Tyler beckoned you over to her side, creating an inviting atmosphere as you hesitantly approached the trio. Gideon and Rhea exchanged curious glances before refocusing their attention on you.

"Tyler was just telling us about your little adventure with Mr. Johnson," Gideon said, a teasing grin spreading across his face. Your cheeks flushed at the mention of it, and you couldn't help but recall how close the two of you had been moments earlier.

"Ah, yes," you replied, meeting Tyler's gaze as she playfully nudged your shoulder. "We were just trying to spice up our day."

"More like spicing up your lives," Rhea chimed in, her eyes filled with amusement. "I never would've guessed you'd be one to break away from boring ol' reality."

"Speaking of reality," Gideon interjected, "did Tyler tell you about the multiverse theory?"

You shook your head, intrigued by the concept. Tyler leaned in closer, her breath tickling your ear as she whispered, "It's the idea that there are an infinite number of universes, each with its own unique set of circumstances and events."

"Imagine," Gideon continued, "an existence where we're all completely different people – or perhaps not even people at all." His words sent shivers down your spine as you considered the endless possibilities.
