"Wait!" You cut in, "William, right? I know how you feel, I can feel your pain, I-"
"No, you don't know how I feel!" He exclaims, "How can you be going through my pain when you don't even who you are, let alone me and May?!"
He's right, you barely even know them, but you continue. "And that's what tortures me, that I cannot decide who to choose because I don't know who you are."
You pause at this moment to let the point seep into his mind.
"So please," You continue, " Let me know who you are, let me see who gets chosen, let me find out the truth."
You pause again, but this time, your captor decides to butt in.
"Well, well, well, you my dear sir, are a very smooth talker. But, will this work against mister mentally distorted?"
"Shut up, man, you're making it worse for him." You lash out.
The voice gives out an arrogant laugh, "Oh, and do you think I give a shit? No! And if he decides to be a total pussy, then I'll just end his life here and now."
"You are sick in the head, you know that?"
"Congratulations! You finally worked it out!"
The conversation ends awkwardly, and soon you realise that William hasn't responded to what you said before. Unluckily, the captor works this out before you.
"Hey, Mr Mentally Distorted," The voice says, "You want to talk or not?"
Silence fills the room, but William finally speaks.
"Yeah, I do. Just wanted to work out what I wanted to say before I say it."
"Well, then, you're chance to speak and beg for your life begins now!"
