Primative Post-Apocalypse

The world you’ve chosen is the far, FAR, off future, where humanity has been reverted to a primative state. No one knows how long it’s been, or even what happened: it’s been several thousand years. All that humanity remembers is that the we were once great and now we’ve fallen, and everyone’s pointing fingers, though not always at other people. Anyway, humanity now lives in scattered tribes, some more powerful than others and vis versa, and many different cultures have arisen.
Ethnic bounderies are completely different, after thousands of years of intermingling, and cultures and their beliefs are not the same as what they used to be. Most of today’s big faiths are still around, namely Christianity, Buddhism, and Islam, but they’ve been radically altered by the course of time and some branches of the faiths are unrecognizable. Even then, their numbers have reduced, though their believers are still numerous: instead, many people worship entirely new systems of faith, which are centered around the world as it is now or, as many religions are, a misunderstanding of history. Some of these faiths are even the spawn of blending systems together.
Most political ideologies, namely those of economic systems, are nonexistent, as the governments required for those ideas to be relivent are gone. There is no capitalism, no communism, the only economic system that works no a days is barter and trade, were goods are traded for goods. Ideas on race, sexuality, and what not were hit particularly hard, as people stopped caring about the issues at all and were just focused on survived. Unfortunately for gay people, this meant breeding to preserve the species. Some don’t think it’s taboo, but it’s still very rare. There are some ideologies, however, that have survived in certain cultures and have become their mainstays, such as feminism (namely of the radical kind) resulting in the first matriarchies.
Cities lie in ruins and nature runs unimpeded, as the scattered humans struggle to survive. The ruins of the civilization are now the battlegrounds of several different tribes, mostly of the fanatical religious kind, who see such places as holy to their religion. While those how kill first are abound, equally so are those who ask questions. This is your sexual playground. Have fun.
