You non-committedly shrug your shoulders. Trying your best to look inconspicuous. What you had happened would remain a secret that you maybe revisited in your dreams, but that was it.
"Been here long enough to know I'm bored as hell. Breaks nearly over and we have another class pretty much now. Come on, let's go" you didn't look him in the eye as you started walking down the hall, focusing on class topics rather than … Alex and Johnson. Alex joined by your side, eyeing you up, once, twice, smirking his signature smirk but saying nothing. He probably had an idea that you were playing dumb, but he didn't say anything. He'd had some fun that could tide him over, and the last thing he'd want to do is make you uncomfortable. Or, more uncomfortable than you already were anyway.
"So, what exactly do we have next?" He asked.
"We've got animal transfiguration. But let me guess, you'd rather do something else?" you answered, finally managing to look at him.
"Actually, I really like this class. Mrs Thiggs is a pretty good teacher." Mrs Thiggs was the only teacher in the castle that used her second name, but nobody really cared too much. As Alex said, she did her job well enough that the students could handle using her second name. After this, they had two more classes before they could go back home. Elemental magic was straight after transiguartion, which both Nathan and Tyler would be joining you for, and you ended the day with Cauldron maintenance, a module you had not picked willingly, but it was that or ancient languages (which Alex had for some ungodly reason chosen) and at the time, cleaning sounded much nicer than the alternative. Nathan and Tyler would also be joining you for cleaning, so the class was just about bearable.
With Alex dead set on going to class, it left you with very few options really, so the two of you headed to transfiguration, speed wakling, and then running to make sure you get there in time after you accidentally take a wrong turn in your flustered state.
