"Of course," says Ada. She hands you a small, white capsule.
"Swallow this, without any water," she says. "You will have twenty-four hours of super-strength and flight. Sorry, we cannot give you heat vision, as it appears to be inherently genetic in nature."
You shrug and say, "Sounds good." You accept the pill and swallow it fast. It's kind of dry, but that's ok. Soon, you are hovering in the air and grinning like an idiot.
"Head south," says Baradarab. "The Raptoropticon lives on a mountain made out of green and orange socks. It's the only place where you'll see those types of socks. Fly straight and aim true, my friend!"
You nod and fly off, the Citizens below cheering you on. As you fly, you explore the world around you. Sock World appears to be made up of a singular landmass piled high and deep with socks of every shape, size, and color. The landmass is only so wide and so long, ending on four sides in a steep, rocky cliff. The rest of the world appears to consist of pink, yellow, and white clouds. The City floats within these clouds, some distance from the landmass.
Eventually, you spot a giant mountain of orange and green socks. Your MPS goes off. It turns out the portal to Happy Happy Hula Hoop World is open. You really do enjoy a good game of hula hoop. Want to scrap the mission or keep your word?
