You do not send word to any of the world's other nations that you were formerly in contact with, but rather remain isolated for the time being. You return to the pressing matters of domestic policy. Crime is low, agricultural output is growing, and nearly every electrical appliance is now legal due to the numerous nuclear plants you have raised. Your citizens, however, are not happy. Now that they can finally turn on their radios, they realize that nothing is on. Literally nothing is on, because broadcasting stations were abandoned when the power went offline. In addition to this, the issues of workers' rights have started to come up again. Unions at the few businesses that have revived themselves are being attacked by your military because they're "putting a stop to the productive flow of our new nation." This was not based on any order you gave, but on the orders of commanders below you.
