You don't particularly like this case - especially if it involves Marty Riordan. But you need the money. Besides, you lived through the war. How bad could this be?
'My firm would be happy to take the case,' you say.
The blonde smiles gratefully, relieved. 'I'll call later with the details,' she says. She drops her cigarette into the ashtray and heads for the door. You watch her sway her hips out of your office, followed closely by Marty Riordan who shoots a suspicious glance in your direction as he leaves.
