You take a look to the road behind you, leading to a village so obscure as to be nameless. Isolated by the hills and forests, you have spent your entire life learning the skills of a woodsman, a survivalist; and at fourteen, you are now confident in your skills to make a break for the wider world. That, and every woman in the village is married; you have certain needs, and cannot sate them at home. And so, you are making your way to Athens, for fame, fortune, and sex.
The road ahead forks into two routes. To the left is an overgrown forest path, lush and verdant with all the colors of spring. You can hear distant singing and the sound of running water. To the right is the main road, from where you can spy a few travelers on horseback.
