You think about it, and the most inspiring creature you can think of is your enthusiastic teacher with the excellent fashion sense. You write down 'Allison' on the paper and set it out. Allison comes and takes if off your desk, giving you a broad smile as she picks it up. Does she know what you did?
Once she's done (even the guy who went to the washroom got to fill in a slip, though he wasn't told what to do), she leans over her desk and lays out the papers. After sorting them into piles, she makes the announcement.
"Well, we have six dragons and eight wolves; that's close enough for a vote. I'll give you all a moment to think about it."
Some kids seem to be thinking, others are looking around the room. Finally Allison stands up.
"Okay, there are twenty-eight of you, so fifteen votes will win. Show of hands: Dragons?"
Thirteen hands go up immediately. You notice four kids doing the same thing you did, half-raising their hands and watching the room. One of those four is Barrie, who is clearly watching you.
