The wife's name is Nancy Kanan. She is 43 years old, and she is 5 foot 8 inches. She has been George Kanan's wife for 17 years. She knows about George's infatuation with a few of the courtesans, but claims to not be bothered by it. If she doesn't hear or see it, she does not care. She says that George usually had a midnight snack. She knows this, because he would wake her up sometimes as he got out of bed.
She claims to not know whether he had a courtesan the night of the murder or not. She says that she always went to bed early, so she doesn't notice when he gets home. She also claims not to know how the furniture got knocked over. As she seemed to think about this, she suddenly started to accuse the courtesan, who's name is Dolly Parker, of murdering her husband. She doesn't give any reasons, just that 'who else could it be?'.
She has no alibi the night of the murder. She claimed to be in bed by 9:30, half an hour later than when the butler, Mr. Longbottom, went to bed. Despite this, she still keeps accusing Dolly Parker, without any evidence.
