You turn your back to the kraken and go down on your hands and knees. The floor of the cavern is cold and wet, and the water laps against your toes as you raise your ass in the air and wait. You can hear the water churning behind you and you start to tremble inside as a wave laps up over your feet. Hands clenched into fists, you try to keep your breathing slow and even. You feel something cold and slimy slide across your leg and you draw a sharp breath.

"I suppose you're trembling from excitement now?" the kraken asks, his tremendous voice dripping with scorn.
