You are Leon Scott Kennedy, a survivor of the Raccoon City incident. After you managed to escape from Raccoon City you drifted around for some time and were eventually hired by the Secret Service. Your skills from your time spent in law enforcement were improved and perfected. And through intense training and dedication, you ended up becoming one of their best agents. Eventually being tasked with the mission to safeguard the president and his family.

That's the reason why you are here in this desolate region of eastern Europe. The president's daughter, Ashley Graham, was kidnapped a week ago by an unknown group. She was sighted near a remote village in this area. You are on your way there to investigate the sighting, and if it proves to be true, rescue her. With you are two local police officers who will lend any support they can. Their names are Pedro and José and you can tell they aren't too happy being dragged along in this mission.

After an long drive on an old dirt road through a thick and bleak looking forest you come across a rope bridge over a small canyon and reach the outskirts of the village. There isn't much here besides a cabin and an old truck which looks to have accumulated a lot of rust over the years. You get out of the car and ask if Pedro and José want to come along. ¨No thanks, we are gonna stay here, don't wanna get any parking tickets.¨ Pedro answers.
