"I am satisfied with your progress till now but you need to make a choice right now"
"I know you desire my hand in marriage to get the support of my father. To your fortune hes ready to talk about our future together as long as i deem you worthy of our family the kolhns"
"But before i accept i need assurances from you."
"Firstly i will accept to a normal marriage as long as i keep all My personal estate and positions. You will not have rights to these under any circumstances unless i deem it so."
"Secondly i will get a selector vote for the lords council independent of my fathers vote. It will be mine and mine alone."
I protested to such a proposition as she cant sit on the lord council as women are forbidden. She interrupts me "I will select someone other than me."
"And thirdly as were going to be husband wife let me inform you i have a lover. And i wont give him up after marriage."
Shock is a very undermining word. Disgusted i thought:
"Either she trusts me so much thay shes confident i wont blackmail her and her family for such a reputation ruining secret."
"Or she knew i had little to no power within my family and that it was basically my world against hers but with her entire family behind her but me alone. My situation was untenable"
I protested the lover would make the parentage of the heir questionable and would make the alliance a shabby mess not worth the effort.
"I assure you the parentage of our child could not possiby be questioned".i .questioned her "why?"
Despite negotiations this sticking point couldnt be acceptable . If my heir is not mine im not safe. im as good as dead. As i get up to leave , katelyn stops me physically.
"The parentage wont be questioned cause my lover is a women."
Soon we drawout a contract with these demands. I add my demand, if the parentage of the child is ever questioned or infedility even remotely proven i will have the right to all her property and positions and her head would be on a chopping block.
"I swear to these demands as long as you honor our bargain. Now you meet my father adolf kohln for his approval."
I said to myself "what more do i have to give to your family to get the throne" and left disgusted.
