You unlock one of your arms from around Cyndi-Rose. You continue to hold her firmly against you. With your free hand, you softly caress her cheek.
This triggers another bout of crying. Cyndi-Rose shivers a bit. You stay silent, continuing to ever so lightly caress her face.
This bout stops more quickly. She settles into your arms. You tilt your face downwards and kiss the top of her head.
Finally, she speaks. "Thanks," she whispers.
"Um... you're welcome?" you reply. "I only did what anyone would do."
"No," Cyndi-Rose responds. "You were very nice. You didn't use my state to manipulate me into having sex. You genuinely displayed care for me."
You trace your fingertip lightly along her lips. "You're pretty, and you needed a shoulder to cry on. I'm just glad I was there."
Cyndi-Rose pauses. "Now that I think about it, sex might help. You up for it?"
