Quickly weighing her options, Katie decides that accepting this stranger's help will probably get her to school on time. Nodding to Jon, she says, "Actually, I could really use a ride to school. The bus took off without me and I don't want to be late. My name's Katie, by the way."

Katie hears the door close and lock as her heart beats quickly while she realizes she may have made a terrible mistake trusting this stranger.
