Kate tries to stand up

Sliding her legs over the edge of the bed, Kate tries to stand. Dumb move Kate! The wounds on her feet flare up like hot coals, and she screams and collapses to the hard hospital floor, ripping loose her IV and painfully landing on her knees she cries out. The IV stand falls to the floor with a loud crash, and a few moments later a tall male nurse comes running in. The nurse lifts Kate off the floor like she weighs nothing, gently setting her down on the hospital bed. "You should have used the call button, You've ripped out your IV, let me take a look at that" he says, grasping her wrist gently. Kate recoils involuntarily as he touches her, the bruises from her earlier struggle sending a jolt of pain up her arm, she cries out. "Ouch!" "Sorry" he says adjusting his grip so that he's holding her hand as he goes to work bandaging her newest injury. "Oh, by the way, my name is Peter, I'm a student nurse here at the BMU medical center, I'll be taking care of you." The nurse says while he works. After a few moments Kate's wrist is bandaged up. "I suppose since you're awake we can skip putting the IV in. Do you remember how you got here?" He asked questioningly.
Sitting on the side of the bed, talking to the nurse, Kate tries to remember what happened.
