You decide to just let it go on. You’re too tired to deal with it anyway, and it shouldn’t be hard to ignore once you get used to it. After a few minutes of it going off, you cover your ears with the pillow and blankets. It helps block out the noise.

Although the noise has faded, you’re still unable to fall asleep.

Keep trying to sleep. You’re determined.

Just get up. It’ll be better for you.
