You trot out of the camp, headed north to catch up to the Rangers that are looking for the bandit ambush. Boltigar and Great Jon leave their tent to watch you go. After about 10 minutes of walking you hear the sounds of combat, people hurriedly talking and the thunk of padded weapons on armor. You round a bend in the trail past a large boulder and find two Rangers with their backs to the boulder facing three bandits in black armor of various metal bits and leathers. Two more Rangers lie on the ground next to two bandits, they are "wounded" and down for the moment. One of the still standing Rangers is a red-headed girl wearing a green dress slitted on the sides up just past her waist. She only has a padded dagger and what looks like some kind of amulet around her neck. She says, "Sam, I think we're in a lot of trouble here!" The bandits do not see you.
