I'd rather starve

From Create Your Own Story

You decide you can handle going hungry. So now its time to look for Jackson; he might be decent today and share some food. Honestly he'd give you his kidney, but he stops at sharing a sandwich. You spot him near the door leading to the pavilion. He's sitting with the majority of the team and some good ol' friends. You immediately pull out your signature finger snap and wink combo. You get a few side smiles, a couple heys, and a round of claps. You sit down to a number of hands patting you on the back, and amping you up for the new season. Now that they've taken the bait, it's time to reel it in. You start of with a simple glare.

Good, good, they're curious to see what you're looking at. Ah ha, they've noticed you're starting at lunch. Now it's time to "search" your backpack for your meal. "Damn" you mutter looking puzzled and defeated.

"You good?" Thomas Jenkins speaks from the crowd. "It's nothing man, I just can't seem to find my lunch." You pretend to review this morning's routine. Then once again a brief and frantic search for your lunch in the backpack; now let's explore our pockets for some "money". "Shit." you exclaim. All eyes are on you... now who is the one to selflessly offer their lunch to you?

Everyone's eyes dart to Jackson, he's your best friend of course he'll give you some food, right? Jackson's returns your awkward glances with an even colder glance. Phil Evan's feeling the silence, motions you half of his chicken wrap; it seems to be a Cesar wrap even better. "Thanks Phil," you make sure to end on a deafening tone, mostly to guilt Jackson. It eventually works out, but not from your persistent sullking, but rather the uncomfortable glances, the table passes at Jackson.

Realizing your plan, Jackson bitterly gives in, and splits his array of fruit, and a cheese stick. You then continue to enlighten the table with your summer stories, and frivolous dares. You all agree to do some thing the upcoming Friday and now its onto to your final classes.
