Other than Chad, who apparently doesn't like you, this guy does like you. And he is also an older boy, so that is cool. You let yourself pull into the house and follow him easily, being led into the living room of the house where a lot of boys are. They are playing video games, talking, joking around. They are as old as your brother Josh or older and you see that there are no other girls here.
"Hey guys, the entertainment is here!", the boy holding your hand says and guides you into the middle of the room. All eyes fall on you and for a moment you feel insecure about that, as you are suddenly the center of attention and some of them don't seem to like you. They look uncomfortable and uneasy, while others broadly grin at you.
"Don't you think she's too young?", one of the boys ask, though not you but John. It is as if you are not there. But then again, all of them are looking at you.
"Yeah, no way she can do that", another boy adds, again talking as if you are not there at all. That is sooooo unfair. You are way old enough and can do that. Whatever that is.
