High Voltage/Go break up with Shawn

From Create Your Own Story

"On my way :)," I replied. Lauren had told me where Shawn lived earlier when I visited. His building was set up differently than mine; all of the rooms were double occupancy. Apparently Shawn's roommate got kicked out of student housing the first weekend when he was found in possession of cocaine. As a result, Shawn had a large room all to himself. I knocked on his door. Shawn opened it; I recognized him from his profile picture.

"Hey babe," he said as I entered the doorway, giving me a small kiss on the lips. He sat me down on his bed and took my hands in his. His eyes started to glow as he grazed my hands over his boxers. I tried to pull my hands away, but held my hand firmly against him.

He removed his shirt and bent at the waist to whisper in my ear, "Tell me how badly you want it."

"Stop it," I said. I struggled to move my hands away from him, but he held me tight.

"Why did you come here then?" he asked. He let go of me but shoved me to the bed. He stood towering over me.

I must of looked frightened, because he smiled and sat at the foot of the bed. He let one of his hands crawl up my legs. He touched me gently through my leggings. "Why did you come here then?" he repeated.

"I think we should stop seeing each other," I said.

Shawn stood up, the playful smiles from earlier replaced by only a serious stare. "What?" he asked.

"I don't think we are a good match. I think we should break up."

"And why is that?" he asked, raising his voice. I became frightened. I wouldn't be able to defend myself against him in this body. "You know," he said. "Nevermind, I don't even want to know."

I sighed quietly. At least he wouldn't become physically abusive.

"Lauren, you're a needy little bitch," he grabbed me forcefully by the arm and led me to towards the door and slammed it shut behind me.

I looked around. The door opened up again and Shawn dropped my boots into the hall, quickly shutting the door again. I picked up my boots and walked down the hall. There was a couch near the staircase and I sat down there before putting my boots on.

A guy walked by holding his toothbrush, "Oh hey Lauren," he said. He continued on his way. I didn't recognize him from anywhere, but he must know me. Could he be one of Shawn's friends? It didn't matter, he was too far down the hallway at this point. I stood up and trudged down the stairs and out into the crisp evening air. I found my silver BMW easily and headed home, collapsing onto my bed and drifting to sleep.
