Head for the exits?

From Create Your Own Story

You and Ling make a break for it and as you glance back you find that none of the assailants follow you. When you reach the back you find yourself in the forest running about 100 feet before taking cover behind a well hidden bush. To your surprise, none of the assailants has followed you, which is extremely odd. You continue to wait for about 3 more minutes and quietly you whisper to Ling that we can’t remain here. We either have to keep going into the forest or we have to somehow reach the car. Ling states that if we try to go back to the car we may run the risk of confronting the robbers head on with less than a quarter of a tank of gas if we do happen to get in without harm. Ling’s BMW is faster than assailant’s vehicle and it is worth a shot.

You respond back saying what if we can sneak back into the store, the robbers wouldn’t expect us to re-enter and should be long gone. Ling also mentions that we could just hide where we’re at for a while hoping for them to leave. Either way a decision needs to be made. You realize that all your belongings including your ID, information on the tournament is still in the vehicle and if the robbers wanted it they would have access to everything about you.

If you remain in your present location, there is a great chance the robbers will find and ambush you, outnumbered by three armed men with possible firearms. If you trek back to the store you may confront them head on and risk being ambushed in the store. If you make a play for the vehicle again you could be ambushed since their car was right in front of the store.
