Harry Potter and the Connubialis Hex/Grimmauld Place/Harry gets afterthoughts

From Create Your Own Story

Harry was still enjoying his moment with Cho when all of a sudden, everything came back at him. He was waking up from a dream, one that was too good to be true, that guilt stabs you like a knife in your stomach. Harry freaked out.

Cho looked at Harry. She saw the change in his face. It frightened her. "Harry? What's wrong?"

Harry was looking at an invisible point on the wall and couldn't take his eyes off it. "What's wrong? Everything's wrong." He turned his head to look at Cho. "What we did was wrong. What "I" did was wrong."

"Harry, it's not wrong. It just happened. We wanted it, nobody imposed it to the other."

"Yes I did. You asked me out of the room and then I casted that spell."

"What spell?"

"Conni..." He was about to say "Connilingus" but he knew that wasn't it. "Damn, I can't even remember it!" Harry was so confused.

"What are you talking about? You didn't cast any spell, Harry" she said with a reassuring tone. She paused. "I know this won't go further than this between you and me. I was a mess when I came here but now I know I can love and can be loved again. I came here for help, and that's exactly what you gave me."

She didn't remember that he drew his wand and forced her to obey to his lust? De he just imagined that? Was she lying to him to protect him from his guilt? Or was the spell he casted (though he wasn't sure anymore he really did it) powerful enough so the person didn't know it happened?

"And don't worry, nobody will know about it. It will be our secret." He was now staring back at that invisible point on the wall. Ginny... He couldn't imagine how much he would hurt her if she knew he cheated her. It would hurt her too much. And with his former girlfriend? She would be devastated.

Harry was lost for words. He remained silent for a moment, everything spinning in his head. He suddenly fell very tired.

"Would it be better if I left now?" Cho asked. Harry answered by nodding his head.

She stood up and dressed.

"For what it's worth, thank you Harry. I did not expect this to happen, but now I see things in a different angle."

He didn't look at her as she left.
