You lock your arms around Kerri and hold her tightly to you. "Kerri," you whisper, "that was the best time I've ever had in my life. You were magnificent. And... I think I'm falling for you."
Still shaking, Kerri gives you a confused look. "Ashley? Did you and I just...?"
You smile. "Yes, Kerri. And you are very beautiful. I'd like to be with you... always."
Kerri is now looking shocked. "What...? Ashley...? This isn't like you at all! I thought you hated us... little people."
You hug Kerri tightly and a few tears drip out of your eyes. "I'm so sorry, Kerri," you whimper. "I never would have said or done anything to hurt you if I'd known what a wonderful girl you truly are."
The thousand-watt grin that splits Kerri's face from ear to ear makes the room seem to brighten. "Oh my goodness," she giggles. "Ashley...? I can't believe it! You're shedding your snobbishness and confessing your feelings. I'm not sexually attracted towards you... but you're becoming a true friend."
"Is there anyone in our school that you are attracted to?" you ask her.
"Yeah... someone," she sighs. "I'll tell you about him in the morning."
As Kerri falls asleep next to you, you comprehend your plans for the next day.
