Go with Joseph and search in the tall grass in the middle of the clearing (Barry RE1)

You decide to go with Joseph into the clearing. You go next to each other, weapons drawn. You search without any success for a few minutes when Joseph finally makes a gruesome discovery.

¨Hey, Barry..¨

¨What?¨

¨Look,¨ he says and points to something in the grass.

You go closer to him and look where he points and see what he had seen, a bitten-off hand still clutching an M92F handgun with the S.T.A.R.S. insignia on it.

¨Damn¨ you whisper under your breath ¨We better radio Wesker about...¨ suddenly you hear something behind you. You spin around and enters firing stance. ¨Who's there!? Identify yourself!¨ you shout. No answer.

You realise that Joseph has done the same thing as you and that he got his shotgun raised.

¨I think we are about to find out what the monsters really are Barry¨ Joseph says with a little smile.

Suddenly a dark figure leaps out of the grass towards you. Your handgun and Joseph's shotgun ring out at the same time and the figure get's hit in mid-air and actually flies a little backwards. Suddenly more of the creature comes rushing out of the grass towards you but you and Joseph manage to hold your ground. But for how long?

Go back to back (Barry RE1) Just in case they are trying to surround you.
