You stand, venturing into the restroom. As you pass the mirror, you catch a glimpse of your face out of the corner of your eye. You stop dead in your tracks and turn slowly towards the mirror. You lean in to examine yourself better. Your skin has become pale and very faintly tinted green. Your hair is thicker, more unkempt than it was before. You ignore these minor details, however, for what you notice above all is that your left eye is bright, glowing red. Not just the cornea, the whole eye is brilliant cherry red. You stumble back a bit as you examine yourself.
