Go to the faculty lounge and chat with Miss Houston

You walk over to the faculty lounge. Several teachers have already trickled in, but Miss Houston hasn't appeared yet. You make small talk with others for a few minutes before she walks in, looking frazzled.

You walk over to her, with a concerned expression. "Is everything all right, Tina?"

She sighs. "Nothing out of the ordinary, I guess. It seemed that final period was unusually rambunctious today. I had to hand out 5 detention slips."

You frown. "That's an awful lot. What happened?"

"One of the kids was acting like he was on a major sugar high," she replies. "He couldn't sit still and was aggressive when someone called him a squirmy mama's boy. Then a fist fight broke out, and I had to give detention to all involved."

"You look a bit on edge," you tell her. "And I've been dropping hints for 6 months that you haven't picked up on, so I'll come right out and say it. Tina, I think you're awesome and want to take you on a date. How about dinner? Tonight?"

She gives you a big smile. "Sounds awesome, Tim. Where?"

• "My place. I'll cook you a delightful meal. What is your favorite food?"
• "King Tsin, the new Chinese restaurant that everyone seems to like."
