Go into the neighborhood grocery shop

You head across the street to the grocery shop. Your body feels heavy and the deep snow makes it hard to move forward. Every step is a challenge but you make it to the grocery shop without any real trouble.
You walk past the counter to the soda freezer and open the door to retrieve a soda can. You put it back due to its coldness. It’s already freezing outside no reason to get even colder. You browse the other merchandise until you lay eyes on a strange man. Oddly enough he wears a trench coat and a Stetson covering his entire body. His face isn’t visible as his large trench coat and stetson hat does a good job of covering his face. Then the man looks at you, he shifts his hat so that his eyes meets yours.
Your entire body reacts to his gaze. He is a monster just like the creature in the hallway you met. Although his eyes show no visible deformities you can feel the wicked stare down to your bones. But his eyes are different, there is intelligence in them, not like the previous creature. The both of you stand and inspect one another for a long time. He is thinking, just like you. In your weakened state you are not sure that you can survive a direct confrontation. There are several other people in the mall who have not noticed his inhuman presence. What will you do?
