Go Lock Up the House. It's Safe Now.

From Create Your Own Story

You nod to Melanie, then set the lamp down next to the bloodied corpse. You turn and head back through the hall to the front of the house. At the front door, you make sure the deadbolt is turned, the chain is set, and the door knob lock is secure. You put your back against the door and breathe a sigh of relief. For the moment, you're safe.

That is, until the remnants of the plane outside explode. You hear the slow rumbling fireball, see a flash through the windows, and then you're suddenly being thrown across the room with such force that your collision with the far wall shatters multitudes of bones within your bottom, and many of your organs rupture or liquefy. Your body slumps to the floor dead, because you chose a very bad spot to camp out.

THE END.
