“There’s a contest in our troupe to see who can sell the most boxes of cookies,” Claire explains. “I really want to win that contest this year.” She leans forward, giving you a tantalizing glimpse down the front of her blouse. “I would really appreciate it if you bought quite a lot. The more you buy, the more… appreciative… I’ll be.” Her hand catches the edge of her skirt and gives it a brief flick up as she says that.
“How many boxes do you want?” she asks.
