Girl Scout Cookies/Hand 1 - Keep the pair of twos and the ace

From Create Your Own Story

You keep the pair, but figure that the ace will give you a better shot at a strong two-pair hand. Lin and Claire both take three cards. You glance at the two cards you’re dealt and are disappointed to see a queen and an eight. No help. Even worse is noticing that the queen was a heart so you would have gotten your flush.

Lin gleefully throws down three fours. As you reveal your pair of twos, you look nervously at Claire. When she sees that you only have twos, a smile crosses her face as she shows a pair of sevens. “One more step to a large cookie order,” Claire announces.

You pull your shirt off over your head and toss it on the floor beside you. Not a good start – you hope your luck can turn around.
