"So, what do you want to do?" you ask awkwardly, still not entirely comfortable around somebody so popular.

Kaylee laughs. "Oh, I've got cheer practice," she says, as if the answer were obvious, "But I promise I didn't forget about you. You can hang out to watch us and I promise we'll hang out afterwards."

Kaylee pulls away, not really waiting for your response, and joins up with Michelle, Jenna and the rest of the squad as they file out onto the track surrounding the football field. The football team is running a few practice plays on the middle of the field, while the girls begin to drill their routine. You look and feel out of place surrounded by the more athletically minded members of the student body. Slouching back in the bleachers and letting out a mild sigh, you take your anatomy book from your backpack and begin jotting your way through your notebook, following the syllabus and completing the next month's worth of assignments while the boring sports practice drags on.

As the time slows to a crawl and you think about the World of Warcraft raid you are skipping to be here, you begin to doubt Kaylee's sincerity in her invitation. She laughs and giggles with her friends, drilling their way through a dance routine to an obnoxious pop song that you hated even before they played it seven times in a row. You put your books away and get ready to leave, when you notice something out of the corner of your eye. The girls assembling their human pyramid with Kaylee stationed at top, but as they strike the final pose, Kaylee seems to be looking directly at you. Then she flips up the front of her cheer skirt to show off her panties. You put your backpack back down, deciding that staying was definitely the right decision.

As the girls wrap up their practice, you make your way down to track where Kaylee is joking with the other members of the squad. "You had your nose buried in a book through all of practice," Kaylee sulks, definitely not accustomed to being ignored, "I would have thought you would be excited to be hanging out with the cool kids."
