Focus on the fire, use it!

From Create Your Own Story

You concentrate on the fire, letting it amass on the edge of your fingertips, and your hands start trembling. Your mind is overflowing; you lose control and throw your hands in the air. The fire surges out of your fingers and explodes above you. A bright, spherical ball of glistering, chaotic light forms atop of you, and it shines as fiercely as a supernova. It´s presence illuminates the night so strongly that it blinds you. Your vision gone you stumble around like a child, mindlessly flinging your arms around, when your vision returns the creatures are gone, swept away with no trace left behind.

You run out into the night.

………

You run, run through the entire night, until the dawn brings sunlight. You are unable to stop and unable to think. Your mind tries to recognize itself among the bombarding adrenalin pumping through your brain. When you finally stop you see the world with new eyes. The material things are distant, alien in their nature. Streetlamps, buildings, and cars, all unimportant and trivial. But as you pass people on the street you see through them, you see their flesh, their bones, their blood, all their small and important pieces working together to make them human. You watch them with uttermost interest, they are important, they are everything, none are different or of lesser value, every individual makes a species, and you know their value.

You stop; stop looking, stop thinking, just focusing on the present. Your illness is gone, eradicated as if it was never there, you can´t even fathom how you could have been sick in the first place. You feel like you regained your spirit, now if you could only regain your memory.
