You ignore the fact that there is blood dripping down your head and step over to Karen to try to calm her down. Although you're not sure what Juan would do, you try a little sugar to diffuse the situation. Smiling you say, "Easy, Karen," you tell her softly as you pull her into your arms. "I love you, and our children, very much. Relax." You kiss her.
Karen looks confused, as if she was preparing for resistance from you. "What?"
"I know you're stressed," you tell her. "Let me relax you. What's really the matter?"
Karen glares. "Dammit, Juan! Why won't you ever try and argue with me?"
Doing your best to channel what you think Juan would do you respond, "because I love you more than anything in the world and I don't want to fight with you. I just want you to be happy."
In response to your passiveness Karen announces, "That's it! I want a divorce!"
"What!? Why do you want to get divorced?" you ask Karen, completely confused at this point. You were sure that if you diffused the situation that you would have fulfilled the goals of the game and be transported back to the classroom, but you are still tied to Juan, trying to solve his problems.
"Because, she responds, "I don't want to be married to a wimp like you," she sighs. "You're impossible! You never let me fight. And that's why I want a divorce. Why can't you just be a man and stand up for yourself?" Karen growls as she turns to leave.
Having your, or rather Juan's manhood attacked for being passive and non-violent right after being physically attacked --- Well, you're at a loss what to do. Looking again in your pockets for any clue you feel something you hadn't noticed before.
It's the clicker from the classroom!
