From Create Your Own Story
You arrived soon at the Eastern Field. The oxen was ready to plow and the women were already starting to work on the plowed land. Some girls wave to you and you wave back; they were probably your friends of this town. You smile and run to them, it was nice to have some friends who could help you in this world.
You and the girls worked in the scorching heat as time past and the sun rose past the rain clouds. One of your friends complained how it was much better while it was raining, and another told her that the clouds wanted her to suffer, so they dodged the sun. Everyone laughed and you felt as if you were back in your old world with your best friends. You were immensely impressed by the simulation and continued to plant the seeds with knowledge you gained from being a farmer.
Suddenly, a loud rumble could be heard and felt beneath you. You were slightly alarmed and frightened, as you didn't know what or who could be possibly cause this artificial earthquake. The girls, however, had a reaction quite opposite of yours. They were giddy and gay, dropping everything they were working on to concentrate on the road beside them.
"Ah~! I wonder if our lord will be looking this way today!" One of your friend say dreamily.
"No way!" Another exclaims, squealing, "His retainer is a much more respected man, not that our lord isn't, but..." She sighs.
You look confusedly at them, until you realize with a trembling excitement that you had a chance to see Masamune Date and Kojuurou Katakura, in the flesh. You almost jump in joy, and it looked as if your friends were going to also when they saw horses from the distance. The flag the army bore two sparrows surrounded by bamboo. It was quite noticeable since it was held proudly high up. The army men cheered loudly and when they passed by, you and all the girls stared in awe.
For a moment as they passed by, it was as if time froze. You glanced past all the men and saw the two faces you were searching for. Your heart beat rapidly and you felt as if you almost couldn't breath. Masamune turned his head and you locked stares with him. He smirked and continued to go forward, his retainer, Kojuurou glancing back at you.
You had never felt so successful and yet so small.
You finished the field work and you said farewell to your friends.
