Downfall/What can you throw over the branch? 03

From Create Your Own Story

"The branch above us looks sturdy enough to use as support," you say. If we throw something over the branch, we might get one of us out with combined efforts."

"I don't know." Debra looks doubtful. "What if it breaks and falls down? And what would we even throw up there? We don't have a rope."

"We can use our clothes," you answer.

"W-what?" your sister says. "What do you mean, 'our clothes'?"

"If we knot our shirts together, we can throw that over the branch. I will pull myself up, and you push me. If I can uplift myself, I can pull you up as well."

"We won't use my shirt for that," your sister says. She sounds very determined. You get a little bit angry.

"And why not, your highness? Don't tell me is your 'favorite shirt' or something."

"I don't wear a bra, dumbass. I am not taking my shirt off. Use your shirt, not mine."

Oh, yeah. How could you forget that when you were staring at her the whole dinner because she doesn't wear a bra. "A single shirt is too short to make the distance over and down again. We have to use both shirts, or it's no use."

"Use your pants, then. They are long enough."

"How am I going to take my pants off? Even If I manage to pull them over my shoes, I can't reach down to get them out. The angle is too poor for me to do that. The only one to reach down there is you."

Debra pulls a face. "Great. If I bow forward, my face would be right at your crotch. Great prospects. I don't want your thing next to my face."

"Don't worry, I'll take extra care not to poke your eyes out."

"Like that small thing could do-". She breaks off.

"Uh, what did you say?"

"Don't change the subject. Let me think for a moment which alternative I dislike less."
