D&D: You try to attack after he started the ritual

As soon as he begins the incantations, you realize that this could be your last chance. If he finishes the ritual you'll become his slave for the rest of your life. With the ritual beginning, he can't focus on you without losing control of the magical energy and with your restored powers you could fight your way out.
You immediately summon and throw lightning at the row of guards watching you. The energy hits the guard in the middle and spread throughout their ranks. But those few guards not effected quickly head towards you, swords in hand while the ones with crossbows level their weapons and fire.
Channeling magical energy you summon a wall of energy to protect you from the arrows. Suddenly, a huge flame erupts from the brazer and heads towards you , while the glyphs on the floor starts to glow. The new surge of power clash into your wall and explodes. You and everyone in the room is hurled against the walls. The last thing you feel is something magical buzzing at the edge of your mind
What happens next:
D&D: You wake up and discover that the mage is now your slave
D&D: You wake up and find that everyone around you is unconscious.
