D&D: Use your magic to put them to sleep

As you aproach the toll, you hide behind a box. You reach into your pouch and pulls out a handful of golden scintillating dust wich you trow to the side and incant while it is still hanging in the air. The two thieves don't notice what is going on until it is too late. You finish the incantation and they're eyes slowly close with magical induced fatigue. After 2 seconds, they both collapse on the street floor and snoring loudly. You smile and sidestep the bodies as you walk past them. Magic is such an easy solution.
