D&D: Mulkair offer you a deal

From Create Your Own Story

"Well it is your luck then. I am a traveling merchant of textile. Exotic silk and clothes are my trade." he says and smiles.

You look his way. "hrm.. I see."

"Follow me. I will try to solve your clothing issues." He invites you to come with him and take you to his tent, the largest one. Inside is warm and smells of incense. There are crates of clothings laying about. "Finding something your size, will be challenging.. but I am certain I can accommodate something."

You let him work about. He sift through several colors and sizes, finding various long robes and exotic garment, but most of them are too big for your elven frame. He finds a few outfit that suits you, and while you've never given it much thought, you have to admit that they are pretty.

Seeing as he's caught your interest, he smiles:"they can be yours for a very low price. The price of friends." he adds and smile.

You sigh a little and tilt your head his way:"They are very interesting.. and I believe I would need those to get in the town without trouble.. but I have no money." you move your head as if to make him look at you. It's not like you have any pockets on your "outfit"

He looks at you with a fake sad expression before putting the clothes away :"I am sorry dear. I should've thought about that sooner..."

There is a moment of silence before he breaks it with a strange sentence in a language you do not know. You look at him curiously :"It is an old saying of my people." he explains, before translating :"If you do not have money, you can be the money" he says with a smile.

You've heard that saying before. It's something the locals says often. It means if you cannot pay with coins, you can usually pays with skills and offer a trade. Although you easily catch Mulkair's suggestive tone.

"It is still a few days until we reach Waterdeep... Would you like to pay for these clothes in another way ?" he asks with a victorious grin.

You raise an eyebrow and "what would I have to do ? protect you?"

He ponders a moment and look your way :"Leave the protection to the mercenary I have hired. Your job will be to entertain me." he corrects you.

You figured as much. Hrm, still, you're pretty horny... this wouldn't be much of an effort to spend your libido gaining something. Besides, druid trades favors for stuffs and such as well. this is not really against your principle.

D&D: Accept the deal

D&D: Politely refuse and go your way
