D&D: MHW : She gives you an errand to run

From Create Your Own Story

"I have an errand for you to run." You look at her and raise an eyebrow.

"An errand?" you reply.

"Yes. I have had a friend make a special bracelet for me but it would seem they are late. I'd like you to go to this address and ask Marianne why my delivery is taking so long," she explains.

"Alright. I'll do as you ask, Master."

She smiles a bit at your formalness but simply nods. "Thank you apprentice. When you come back, I'll resume your lesson."

You nod and take the paper from her hand with the address. You leave the warm red room and walk down the staircase to the entrance and head on out of the tower. You don't go out that often. Well not in town anyway. You don't have much time to because of your lessons. Even though she is a great master, you can't help but feel she is making your progress slow on purpose. You wonder why but then you remember all the wizard who turned to evil after acquiring too much power too fast.

You lose yourself in thought as you walk to the address. You don't need to being in town a lot to know your way around. Studying maps and history served at least that, even if the real thing is so much different.

You finally arrive at your destination and enter what looks like a small shop. As you enter, a small bell warns of your entrance. You look around and take in the sight.

It looks a lot like your master's laboratory and you conclude it must be some kind of magic shop. While normal people would find this shop eerie and strange, you feel at home amongst the dusty old tomes, the jars with strange creatures and substances, the wands, the trinkets.

You finally get to the counter when you are greeted by a cute black-haired girl. She has short black hair and cunning black eye. She must be a year or two older then you are. She's a bit smaller and less curvy then your master but, then again, the redhead beauty is not a fair comparison many women. This girl is probably in a growth spur and she looks sincere and mischievous. She's wearing a black dress that covers her top and reveal one of her legs, up to her knee. As you stare, she smiles a bit and look at you.

"Yes? Can I help you?"

"Oh, hrm. Yes. I am looking for lady Marianne." She smiles a bit and tilts her head while examining you. She seems to observe you with the same inquiries that you were a minute ago and you blush a little which makes her smirk.

"Lady Marianne is out at the moment. I am Sarah, her apprentice. Maybe I can help you?" she says. You look at her and nod.

"I am Lady Arahel's apprentice. My master want to know if her delivery made it," you explain.

"Oh! Wait here."

You look at her walks down to the backstore and bid your time, examining the various object. You don't have to wait long that she comes back with a black box and puts it on the counter.

"Here. This arrived this morning. I think my master would've sent Lady Arahel a letter if she was here but she left a few days ago and left me in charge of the shop. Sorry for not bringing this sooner." She blushes lightly and you smile.

"It's alright." you approach the box and open it. The two bracelets are nice and elegant.

"You can take them. I had a note saying that your master already paid for them." the young girl says.

"Thank you Sarah." you nods.

"You're welcome." she smirk and reply.
