D&D: FEW Sailing to Calimshan: 2nd day: Trail off and explore the ship

You exit your quarters and begin to explore the ship. There are several areas that you can enter at the moment, and this is a large enough ship to afford ample exploration. There are many different rooms within the ship, and the tiered decks also have several different areas.

There's the captain's quarters, where Carlig stays as the leader of this expedition, he isn't there at the moment, but that doesn't mean that you can't go to see what you can see.

There are several officer's quarters in the stern, level with the main deck. The officers retire to them when they are not on duty, and they often while away the hours alone.

Below the main deck there are the crew's quarters, where the crew sleeps when they aren't working. You are unlikely to find anyone here at this time of day.

There's the crew's mess hall and the officer's mess hall. Each filled with various sailors, eating and conversing with each other while not on duty.

There's also the deck, with its different sections. There's the main deck, where the crew goes about their work day. There's the Quarter-Deck, where the skipper mans the helm. There's also the Forecastle where the ballista battery is stationed. This ship though a cargo ship, is capable of handling itself in any situation.
