D&D: A guard opens up and give you a hard time

The guard who opens up looks at you. "Yeah what do you want ?"
You eyes him up. Militia. Not so well trained with a belly from living off a bigger pay then he deserve. "I'm here to take care of this house's problem."
The soldiers eyes you up. "You here for the job?"
You nod. Something glitter in his eyes. You smell bad intention. "Can't let you in like that unless you got official paper."
You sigh. This isn't the first time these official paper caused you a job. The nobles of Waterdeep sure likes their paperwork. In theory, you shouldn't even have been around the noble district.
"Listen, I got a job to do and I need that gold. You let me in right now cause I'm pretty sure that your boss won't care much about paperwork as long as I get the job done." you suddenly claim.
He suddenly ponders. "Well... I could always be convinced to let you in."
