Corruption of Princesses/Elsa and Anna : First day : Elsa decides to confront the veteran

The guard captain nods as he gets up and walks out of the door. Elsa sigh a bit and ponder how she is going to handle this. She finishes her duty in the throne room before heading to her own room.
Before long, there is a knock on the door and answers to come in.
The veteran guard walks in. He's an older gentlemen, maybe twice her age but in good shape. He's clearly a veteran that was probably guard captain when her parents were alive. The man scans the room. His frown shows that he's not particularly happy at having being summoned in the princess's chambers.
"Do you know why I summoned you ?"
The guard doesn't show any proper protocole in presence of the royal princess. His voice is simply sour "I'm sure you'll tell me, princess."
Elsa is a little taken aback. All the guards, especially the young one adores her and her sister. They've never this kind of impertinence or lack of decorum.
"I was reported that you are being a negative influence on your fellow guards."
"You shouldn't listen to what everyone says... your highness." he adds finally but with no reverence to the title. More like an obligation. Elsa holds his gaze as the man, alittle taller then her, simply stare back at her, almost arrogantly. She feels frustrated that she seems to have no authority with this man. Forgetting her usual tact and diplomacy, she begins to answers out of annoyance.
"By this logic then, I should discard anything you have to say in your defense."
Finally a reaction from the guard as he winces, looking down at this impertinent royal brat with such lack of respect. Smiling, not sure why, because she 'landed a blow', Elsa pushes the nail in.
"I could have you demoted, imrpisoned or whatever I fancy. You should be more respectful."
