You set your Engineering book on the floor and curl up to get some sleep.
You start to get drowsy when you hear Julia talking on the phone in her room again. She has no idea you can hear her.
"Well, he totally blew me off," she says.
She must be talking to one of her girlfriends.
"I don't know what his deal is," she says. "It's not like he has a girlfriend. At least I don't think he does. It's like he doesn't know what to do with a girl."
There's a long silence. Then:
"No! I'm not going to throw myself at him. Fuck him! If he can't figure it out, then fuck him."
Jeez. She sounds bitter or something. There's another silence.
"Well, if you want it so bad, then why don't you come over here and try to get some. Jeez, Carrie. You haven't even met him."
This is getting kinky...
"God! I can't believe you! Sure, come on! I'm sure he'll blow you off, too, but be my guest."
You wait, but the phone conversation is evidently finished. You obviously disappointed Julia when you didn't talk to her. She must have had some feelings for you or something.
