You got dosed. He's going to have some fun. So is the ringmaster, just a little.
First, everyone's going to run. You're going to do so, badly. Then the Ringmaster is going to pin you with a boot to the ground. Then he's going to toy with you, similar to how all the other timeline main characters are being toyed with in this phase.
But this road is VERY (C)NC. He's going to play an old game with the ringmaster, who's going to walk you backwards and watch you stumble here and there, only for you to take refuge behind the alchemist who will pretend to scare them off, savor your trust, and then grab your jaw and force more drink down your throat, different this time.
This is one of the most sadistic characters, if only emotionally.
