Be a good girl and wait for the plague to pass so you can return to your farm

As the days continue, there seems to be no end in sight for the plague. You try to be patient, but it's hard. Nothing eventful has happened. That is, until the day a knight comes to visit the monastery.

All of the monks gather together to hear their visitor speak. You note a physical resemblance that you just can't place. Then it hits you. He looks identical to the man who killed Tyrone, albeit with facial hair. Perhaps he's a distant relative.

"I am Ulric, envoy to the Bishop," the knight announces. "Word has reached the Bishop of a village that does not suffer as the rest do. They say it is a sanctuary from the pestilence."

Many of the monks appear shocked by this revelation, but the monastery's Abbot remains unaffected by these words. "There are many villages that have not yet been ravaged by the pestilence," he reasons.

"It is claimed that these villagers are beyond Death's icy grasp," the knight continues. "I must see for myself how this village is kept safe."

"What part have we in this?" Brother Mordred inquires.

"The village I seek lies in the great marsh," Ulric explains. "I require a guide. A man of God to show the way."

"No man here fit for such a task," is the Abbot's response.
