There's not much you can do with the supplies you have, and the most effective use is to just pour some acid in a couple of test tubes. You hold them in each hand, over your pinky and index finger under the other two, leaving your thumbs free. As soon as you finish and leave the closet, you sense a presence entering the room. It has to be an assassin, but you never knew about anyone that good. Perhaps there are even more secrets they have plotted against rogues.
You wait patiently until you have him in your sight and then sling one of the tubes at his neck. He flinches and hisses loudly as the acid burns through the cloth and his skin. He turns around as a reflex, and the other tube hits his face, disabling him completely. You spring ahead and snap his neck with a rapid move of your hands. There might still be more assassins coming, but at least you bought yourself enough time to look around.
