"Is that really everything you wanted?" You ask with a smile, slightly more seductively than you meant.

She sits back in her chair and closes her eyes. She takes a deep breath and exhales.

"No." She types a few things into her computer, before putting it into stand by mode. She takes of her headset and places it in a drawer.

She stands up and walks around her desk, in that elegant way that only felines seem capable of doing. She sits on the edge of her desk, right in front of you with her legs cross.

"Ms. Bastet?" You ask.

"Do you know how big an asset you are to this company, Nick?"

"Ma'am?"

"Few employees are as dedicated as you. I myself wouldn't be here without your hard work behind me."

I want to put in some hard work behind you, that's for sure.

"That's why I put you in for a promotion. I want you to be my personal assistant. You'd have your own desk right here in my office. you'd help with general workload, perform worker assessments, and accompany me on business trips when necessary. Not to mention you'd get a rather large pay increase."

"Unfortunately, the higher ups rejected my proposal."
